Kent Cornucopia Days

Dear FWWS Members,

This is a reminder to sign up to pour in the FWWS wine garden at Kent Cornucopia Days. This is a great summer promotional opportunity in Washington's most populous county and more importantly one of the few such events at which wineries stand to actually make some money.

To recap, this event takes place July 8, 9 and 10 in downtown Kent. This street fair closes most of the downtown streets and attracts between 250,000 and 300,000 people. Other highlights are:
  • FWWS member wineries will be able to pour (and sell bottles of) up to three wines.
  • Pours will be by tickets (scrip) so you will be paid for pouring wine.
  • You will be paid at wholesale for wine sold at the wine store.
  • No table or "promotional" fee.
  • No certificate of insurance is required (FWWS maintains liability insurance for member wineries at FWWS events).
  • FWWS wine garden will be included in festival maps and other promotional materials.
We presently have the following wineries signed up:
  • Lost River Winery
  • Wilridge Winery
  • Nota Bene Winery
  • Willis Hall Winery
  • Gingko Forest Winery
  • Challenger Ridge Vineyard & Cellars
  • Horan Estates Winery
  • Tiger Mountain Winery
  • Northwest Totem Cellars
  • Wedge Mountain Winery
  • Stina's Cellars
  • Madsen Family Cellars
  • Windy Point Vineyards
  • Naches Heights Vineyard & Winery
If you are not on the above list and want to attend (or if you are on the list and your plans have changed and you will not be attending) please contact us at board@familywineriesofwashington.org. In compliance with our special occasion license we need to provide a complete list of participating wineries to the WSLCB no later than June 30th so this will be the only general reminder. Future details about this event will be sent only to those confirming attendance. We look forward to a great event and seeing you in Kent!
